Xibun River Enterprises
Xibun River Enterprises was established in 2020 and is the new parent company of Hummingbird Citrus Ltd. and its brand, Xibun River Estates. Together, we make up a collection of farms in Belize’s Stann Creek district. In 2020, under new ownership structure, we joined the Silk Grass Family of companies, united by a vision of durable environmental, social, and financial prosperity in Belize and beyond. We produce cacao beans and a variety of fresh citrus fruits on our farms for specialty food processors. We take our work seriously and our problems lightly. Join us in celebration of the future.

The Silk Grass Family of companies is a collection of social enterprises committed to lasting, positive environmental and social impact.
Our parent company, Silk Grass Holdings US LLC, is located in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Our sister companies, Silk Grass Farms Ltd., Silk Grass Enterprises Ltd., Hummingbird Citrus Ltd., Valley Orchards, Ltd., and Greene Groves & Ranch Belize Ltd. are all located in Belize. As a family, we share resources, ideas, and dreams with one vision of a green and prosperous future.
Our social and environmental commitments are as strong as our accountability to them. Because of this, we are working toward third party certifications to verify our claims. Silk Grass Farms will be the first of our companies to achieve B Corp and Rainforest alliance certifications. We’re also in the process of legally designating 24,700 acres of rainforest adjacent to Silk Grass Farms as a protected area called the Silk Grass Wildlife Preserve. With a full-time CSR manager on our leadership team, we’re making impact materiality and accountability top priorities in all of our operations. We look for ways to improve our environmental and social commitments every day.
